My name is Adamo Marinelli. I am a versatile multimedia freelance journalist who specializes in sports reporting. I have extensive experience writing sports previews, recaps, analysis pieces, profiles, features, and commentaries. I have also written multiple local, breaking, and Carleton campus news stories, features, and commentaries about business and the economy.

My writing, editing, and multimedia work has appeared in The Ottawa Citizen, Ottawa Sun, The Hockey News, The Canadian Baseball Network, 49 Sports, Ottawa Sports Pages, Capital Current, 613 Sports, and The Charlatan. I am also a sports blogger, a copy editor, a fact-checker, and I run my own YouTube sports podcast.

In June 2023 I graduated with High Distinction from Carleton University with a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism with Honours. I have strong research, interviewing, reporting, and fact-checking skills. Finally, I am well-versed in Adobe Audition, Rush, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop and I have produced many stories for radio and television in addition to hundreds of print and online stories with multimedia elements.
